Heating and cooking are by electricity - Total Control System. The lounge also has an attractive wall mounted fire with a ‘real coal‘ effect. There is a TV (satellite), video, and a hi-fi unit, with radio, double tape unit and CD.
The cottage has been tastefully decorated and fully equipped. We have tried to think of everything to make your stay comfortable and give a ‘home from home’ feel, and have provided as much as we can think of, from tea towels, to washing up liquid and washing powder.It has two bedrooms, one with a double bed and one with two single beds, both with ample wardrobe space. Bed linen and towels are provided and included in the cost.
Electricity is charged at cost and deducted from the deposit.
The cottage is annually inspected by the Scottish Tourist Board, and was Highly Commended under the old system. Points awarded under the new system mark us at the very top end of the 3 star group.
We are approximately 1 mile from the centre of Fort William in a quiet residential area with a frequent bus service. The bus terminal is about 150 yards from the cottage. The mountains are literally less than a minutes walk away - just out of the gate and across the road. You can reach the town in 15/20 minutes on foot, (with a spectacular view en route), or 3/4 minutes by car.
We provide a welcome tray for your arrival.
There is strictly no smoking allowed in the cottage. We regret we cannot accept pets except under very special circumstances.
